Are children allowed at the show?
Children are welcome at the show

Can I bring my dog?
No dogs other than assistance dogs are allowed on the Global Birdfair event site including Glamping, camping and camper van areas booked directly with Global Birdfair or Bellows Glamping. For those booking camping directly with Lyndon Top, dogs are allowed on that part of the caravan and camping site but not within the event area itself. Assistance dog handlers will need to have the appropriate registration documents to show at the gate please.

Can I park?
Yes, Parking Is free

Is there disabled parking?
If you show your Disabled badge on arrival, we will try and get you parked as close as possible.

Can I book a mobility scooter?
Mobility scooters can be booked with Event Mobility via www.globalbirdfair.org

Disabled Ticketing Policy
Disabled access is available - please do let us know in advance if you have any specific requirements to enable you to access the event. One complimentary ticket is available for an adult unable to attend Global Birdfair unaided. Necessary documentation must be shown at the gate eg Middle or Higher Rate DLA for care and/or mobility

Is the site wheelchair friendly?
We will try and keep the ground wheelchair friendly, but the site is on grass so the conditions are weather dependent.

Is there a shop and drop facility?
No

Can I get a programme?
You can buy an event Programme voucher in advance and exchange it at the show when you arrive. There might be a limited number of Programmes to buy at the event but we cannot guarantee this.

Is there food on site?
On site catering offers food and drink for sale to all as well as a fully licensed bar throughout the operating hours of Global Birdfair. Age restrictions apply to alcohol purchases. Please advise any catering outlet of food allergies before you make your purchase. We cannot be responsible for any issues relating to food or drink bought and/or consumed on the premises. Some of the catering outlets and bar are open until 9:00pm on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Can I bring a picnic? Can this include alcohol?
You can bring food and drink into the show

Do you offer Camping?
Camping and Campervans and Caravans must be booked direct with Lyndon Topat https://www.lyndontop.com
Camping is available with access to toilet facilities only - places must be booked in advance. Camper vans must have their own toilet facilities - places must be booked in advance Glamping is available to book via www.globalbirdfair.org which includes access to portable shower and toilet faciltiies


Is there First Aid onsite?
We have emergency medical cover on site at all times during the public opening hours of the event. Please find a member of site staff if you need urgent medical assistance

How do I get there?
By Road:

Lyndon Top Caravan Site, Lyndon Road, Near Oakham LE15 8RN. There is ample car parking on site at no charge.

By Bus or Train:
Buses and trains operate to Oakham.

Taxi:
Taxis will use a drop off point near the main entrance to the show ground; there will be a short walk to the Global Birdfair site.

Is there a Shuttle Bus service?
We will operate a shuttle bus service from Oakham station to and town to Lyndon Top .The service will start at around 8:30am from Oakham Station on Friday 10 July.
